Job Description

Wilsonart in Klamath Falls currently has an opening for a Continuous Improvement Intern!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Collect and interpret operational data (e.g., cycle times, downtime, inventory levels) to support decision-making.
• Assist in designing and implementing changes to workflows, layouts, or production schedules to enhance efficiency.
• Conduct time-motion studies, create process maps, or use simulation software to model and optimize systems.
• Work closely with production, quality, logistics, and engineering teams to support initiatives and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Summarize findings, create reports or presentations, and present recommendations to supervisors or teams.

Education

Currently pursuing a degree. Preferably in Engineering or related field.

Experience

1+ years. May include other internships, or experience earned at the college level.
