Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary professional learning and personal enrichment experiences through classes in Normal, Pontiac, and Lincoln.
• Teach courses that align with Heartland Community College's programming needs.
• Engage with students to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

• Have an area of expertise and a passion for teaching.
• Provide details of any industry credentials you possess.
• Be willing to discuss your proposed course with Laurie Mueller, Director, Continuing Education Programming.

Qualifications

• Experience in relevant field or equivalent education and training.
• Ability to teach effectively and engage students.
• Passion for continuing education and personal enrichment.

Skills

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles.

Pay

The generally anticipated payrate is $30 - $35 per contact hour or above.

Schedule

Hours and schedule are flexible and can be discussed during the interview process.
