Key Responsibilities
- Meet with attorneys, clients, and professionals to discuss cases or projects.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and interrogatories.
- Filer motions and pleadings following judicial procedures.
- Research statutes, regulations, judicial decisions, and legal sources.
- Analyze findings and provide written summaries to attorneys.
- Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files including evidence, exhibits, depositions, and pleadings.
- Track and maintain billable hours records for cases.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Key Requirements
- 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
- Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of legal language, principles, research methods, court pleadings, and processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Prior proven time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Commitment to confidentiality, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
