Position Summary
The Contents Restoration Technician position is responsible for assessing, inventory, packing, moving and properly storing all contents, textiles and electronics from customers residence, and the cleaning and restoration of contents damaged by water, fire, smoke, and mold.
Responsibilities
- Perform production processes, cleaning, and other labor-intensive tasks.
- Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
- Perform contents cleaning (i.e., textiles, electronics, clothing, household goods, furniture, etc.) after fire/smoke damage, using appropriate methods for different materials
- Operate cleaning equipment such as ultrasonic machines, ozone chambers, HEPA vacuums, and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Photo inventory and documentation of contents prior to cleaning or packing using digital software
- Inspect and document contents for any damage, including pre-existing.
- Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines, at all times.
- Communicate with Crew Lead and/or Project Manager and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
- Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown.
- Leave jobsite or workstation with a clean and orderly appearance.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of work performed, including before-and-after photos and checklists.
- Drive company vehicles to and from job sites.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds regularly
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
- Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
- Ability to travel up to 300-mile radius to service territory.
- Ability to work over-time, when needed
- Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law

The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
