Contents Production Manager

Primary responsibilities

• Cook up and supervise daily contents production, including pack-out, inventory, cleaning, storage, and pack-back operations.
• Ensure accurate documentation, photography, and tracking of all customer belongings.
• Maintain production schedules and meet completion deadlines for contents projects.
• Manage the overall customer and client experience and drive customer satisfaction throughout each project.
• Clearly communicate processes, establish expectations, and resolve customer concerns and complaints promptly.
• Develop accurate scopes of work, review estimates, and negotiate scope and pricing approval with customers and adjusters.
• Schedule crews, subcontractors, and resources to provide efficient service on active projects.
• Lead daily Work-in-Progress meetings to keep staff updated and coordinate resources.
• Create and manage project labor budgets, timelines, and job costing analysis to ensure profitability.
• Oversee and manage crew and subcontractor performance and adherence to quality standards.
• Ensure work is performed satisfactorily and job sites are left clean and orderly.
• Manage and review accurate job file documentation and maintain awareness of all project statuses.
• Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders and memorialize external communication in the project file.
• Manage operational, labor, and reimbursement expenses according to budget.
• Manage the maintenance and care of all equipment, tools, and assigned work vehicles.
• Follow and oversee safe work practices and adherence to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
• Recruit, train, coach, mentor, and conduct performance reviews for assigned staff.
• Maintain SERVPRO brand compliance and pursue ongoing professional development.

Position requirements

• A high school diploma/GED is required.
• Two to four years of contents or restoration production experience is preferred.
• IICRC certifications are preferred.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills are essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills are necessary.
• The ability to work in person and travel to job sites as needed is required.
• Availability for weekend and after-hours on-call rotation is necessary.
• Authorization to work lawfully in the United States and successful completion of a background check are required.

Physical demands

• A combination of office-based and jobsite work.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
• Walking, standing, bending, and reaching at jobsites; occasionally climbing ladders and stairs.
• Frequent driving to and between jobsites and office locations.
• Lifting and carrying of up to 30 pounds; occasionally more with assistance.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when on jobsites.
• Occasional exposure to jobsite conditions such as heat, cold, dust, moisture, and noise.
• Close and distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Physical stamina to move between sites and remain active throughout the day.
