Content Writer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing thoughtful, clear, and engaging content across platforms — including web, blogs, social media, newsletters, media articles, and knowledge documents. You should be able to translate complex technical and policy concepts into accessible narratives that resonate with diverse stakeholders — from citizens and regulated financial entities to policy makers and regulators.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality written content for: Blogs, thought leadership articles, explainer posts
• Website content and FAQs
• Press releases and media briefs
• Social media posts and campaigns
• Reports, whitepapers, case studies, reports and presentations
• Support data collation and reporting using Excel; generate dashboards and MIS as needed
• Internal documentation and knowledge base
• Collaborate with the design, marketing, partnerships, and product teams to deliver cohesive and impactful communication
• Support the marketing team across various initiatives, including social media management, website development, internal newsletter releases, lending reports, and more.
• Maintain a consistent voice aligned with Sahamati’s brand and values
• Track content performance metrics and optimize for engagement and impact
• Stay updated on trends in open finance, account aggregators, digital public infrastructure, and data governance

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–5 years of proven experience in content writing or communication roles, preferably in Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) or fintech
• Excellent command over written English — grammar, clarity, tone, and structure
• Strong research skills and ability to quickly understand technical and policy topics
• Experience writing for digital platforms and optimizing content for SEO and readability
• Ability to work independently, take feedback constructively, and meet tight deadlines
