Content Writer

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Hoffman Estates, IL 60192 Role Overview Atom is looking for a Content Writer to support our thought leadership and press relations. You’ll write bylined content for our leadership team, draft press materials, and help get Atom’s perspective in front of the media. This is a hands-on, execution-focused writing role in a fast-moving, AI-native startup. You’ll work closely with our CEO and marketing team, turning ideas, data, and launches into content that builds credibility with founders, domain investors, and the press. What You’ll Do Thought leadership Write blog articles, LinkedIn posts, and op-eds for company leadershipTurn interviews, notes, and rough ideas into polished, publishable piecesDevelop points of view on AI, naming, branding, and the domain industry Press relations Draft press releases, media pitches, and company announcementsWrite contributed articles for business and tech publicationsDraft responses to journalist requests and media inquiriesKeep press materials and the company boilerplate up to date What We’re Looking For 1-3+ years writing professionally (PR, communications, journalism, content marketing, or agency)Ability to write strong business thought leadershipExperience writing press releases, pitches, or other media-facing contentClear, facts-first writing with a strong editorial eyeComfort using AI tools to research and draft faster, with the judgment to make the final product sound humanAbility to learn a new industry quickly and write about it with authorityOwnership and speed in a fast-paced startup environment Bonus if you have Experience ghostwriting for executivesBylines or placements in business or tech outletsBackground in tech, startups, branding, or marketing Why you’ll like it here Direct collaboration with leadership on thought leadership and media contentHands-on experience writing with AI tools at an AI-native company About Atom: Atom is an AI-native premium domain marketplace helping startups and established businesses secure a strong name and build a stronger brand.
