Content Writer (AI-Era)

Overview

Onflo builds a unified service platform for K-12 public education, integrating various functions such as customer service, help desk ticketing, call center operations, AI chat, and IT asset management. We seek a content writer to develop compelling demand-driving content across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage customer stories and case studies from conception to completion, including conducting interviews.
• Develop email nurture sequences tailored to distinct buyer personas using HubSpot.
• Write blog and long-form content that addresses real search intent and optimizes for both traditional and AI-driven search engines.
• Create webinar scripts, sales one-pagers, battle cards, and initial presentations.
• Design ABM content specifically for targeted districts and roles.
• Preserve and maintain the brand voice consistently across all content.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of content writing experience, particularly with AI tools integrated into the workflow.
• A portfolio demonstrating a range of work, including technical and human-oriented pieces, with at least one piece that has driven pipeline growth.
• Experience writing for B2B SaaS companies.
• Expertise with AI writing tools, understanding which models to use for different tasks and how to refine AI-generated content.
• Strong audience analysis skills, adapting writing style for IT directors versus CBOs.
• Familiarity with SEO fundamentals, especially how content surfaces in AI search engines.
• Experience in K-12, education, or public sector writing is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Ability to work remotely three days a week from Onflo’s Herndon, VA office.

• Resourceful and self-directed, capable of handling unstructured briefs and priorities.
• Capable of self-editing and adjusting content based on its performance and the reader’s needs.
• Open to receiving direct feedback and ensuring accuracy, especially when dealing with public school districts.
• Genuinely interested in AI and its applications within the education sector.

• Strong SEO fundamentals.
• Effective communication and storytelling skills.
• Ability to adapt writing style for different audiences.

Benefits

The role offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 per year, plus an annual discretionary corporate bonus plan.
