About the role

You’ll share how Belong homes come together: the makers, the materials, the before‑and‑afters and the families behind them. On Instagram, YouTube and our Journal. The Storyteller in Residence.

Responsibilities

• Shoot photos, reels and short films on sites and in the studio.
• Write captions and Journal pieces in the Belong voice.
• Keep the social calendar full and keep the community heard.
• Photograph finished homes, always with the family’s yes.
• Notice what people love, then try something new.
• A typical Tuesday: 9:00 am – film a carpenter’s hands on a drawer front in morning light; 12:00 pm – edit a 20‑second reel and cut it to 12 seconds; 3:00 pm – reply to comments like a person, not a brand; 5:30 pm – draft a Journal piece on tiles for monsoon homes.
• Never post a family’s home without their yes; never fake a before‑after; never chase a trend that isn’t us.

Requirements

• A feed or portfolio that shows your eye.
• Ability to shoot and edit on phone or camera.
• Writing that sounds like a person.
• Curiosity about homes, makers and families.
• Proficiency in English and Malayalam.

Skills (Bonus)

• Motion graphics experience.
• Familiarity with Canva or Figma.
• Steady hand with a drone.
