Content Lead

About the role

White Circle is an AI Safety company developing safety, reliability, and optimization layers for AI systems. Our platform includes policies—simple natural-language rules defining AI model behavior. We automate policy testing, enforcement, and continuous improvement at scale. We've secured $11M from leading investors including OpenAI, Anthropic, HuggingFace, Mistral, DeepMind, Datadog, and Sentry.

Responsibilities

• Own White Circle's content strategy and editorial direction
• Turn customer conversations into case studies, customer stories, and reference materials
• Interview customers, partners, founders, and engineers to uncover insights worth sharing
• Write and publish long-form content across Medium, Substack, LinkedIn, X, and our website
• Create technical and non-technical content explaining AI safety, evaluation, governance, and reliability
• Develop launch narratives for new products, features, and research initiatives
• Support sales conversations and market positioning with the GTM team
• Build repeatable processes for content creation, publication, and distribution
• Experiment with new formats, channels, and ways of reaching technical audiences

Requirements

We're seeking someone with:

• An exceptional writing ability
• The capability to simplify complex technical topics without oversimplification
• A knack for discovering interesting stories within products, customers, and technology
• A strong sense of editorial judgment
• The ability to identify what is worth publishing and what isn't
• Comfortable conducting interviews with executives, engineers, researchers, and customers
• Experience creating content for technical audiences
• The ability to switch between strategic thinking and hands-on writing
• Fluency in English

Qualifications

• Has an engineering, computer science, or technical background
• Has built an audience through writing
• Has worked at a developer tools, AI, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, or enterprise software company
• Has written content that significantly influenced product adoption, company positioning, or revenue generation
