Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Identify compelling stories that showcase the impact of the Driven Project.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support fundraising, sponsorship, volunteer recruitment, and organizational awareness through strategic storytelling.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and brand voice across digital channels.
  • Create and publish approximately 2–3 social media posts per week across key platforms.
  • Maintain engagement and recommend opportunities to increase reach and community interaction.
  • Stay current on social media trends and creatively adapt them for mission-driven storytelling.
  • Produce and distribute one donor/community newsletter each month.
  • Write compelling copy highlighting family stories, sponsor recognition, organizational updates, and upcoming events.
  • Coordinate messaging and approvals with leadership.
  • Transform event footage into emotionally compelling stories.
  • Produce event recap videos and highlight reels that reinforce the organization's impact.
  • Work from established storytelling frameworks and an existing content library to accelerate production.
  • Maximize the value of every event by repurposing content into: Social media posts, Donor communications, Sponsor recognition, Volunteer spotlights, Event recaps, Campaign content.
  • Support communications for: Fundraising campaigns, Sponsor announcements, Giving initiatives, Event promotion, Volunteer recruitment, Year-end campaigns.
  • Collaborate with staff and external partners to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively and on schedule.

Desired Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in communications, content marketing, digital storytelling, or social media management.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to communicate emotionally and authentically.
  • Experience managing organizational social media accounts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and X.
  • Experience producing email newsletters and using email marketing platforms.
  • Strong short-form video editing skills with an eye for storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement.
  • Basic graphic design experience using Canva or similar tools.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities independently while thriving in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience working with nonprofits, fundraising organizations, or mission-driven brands is preferred.
