Shepherd Church is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Maintenance Worker to join our Building & Grounds Team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our facility is functional, safe, clean, and inviting for everyone who visits.

About the role

As a Maintenance Worker, you’ll execute a variety of maintenance tasks and repairs. The ideal candidate is dependable, hard-working, and committed to supporting the mission of Shepherd Church through excellence in facility care.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks and repairs to ensure facility functionality, safety, and cleanliness

Requirements

• Available to work varied shifts including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques and use of basic tools
• Able to climb stairs, ladders, and work at heights
• Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and a positive, can-do attitude
• Professional demeanor with a commitment to confidentiality
• Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and perform physical labor both indoors and outdoors
• Understanding of safety practices and basic building systems
• Valid CDL

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a service industry role and/or skilled trade (preferred)

Schedule

• Flexible schedule required (weekdays, evenings, weekends) between 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Non-exempt, full-time role.
