About the Role: IMM is seeking a creative and motivated Content Creation & Marketing Intern to help create engaging content that promotes our apartment communities and property brands. This internship offers hands-on experience in content creation, social media marketing, photography, videography, branding, and digital communications. As a direct report to the Marketing Director, you will work alongside a collaborative marketing team to create engaging content that showcases our communities, residents, and brand. This flexible part-time opportunity is ideal for a student or emerging marketing professional who enjoys storytelling, visual content creation, and connecting with audiences through digital media while building a professional portfolio and gaining valuable real-world marketing experience. Key Responsibilities: Create graphics and visual content using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools. Capture and edit photos and videos of properties, events, and company activities. Create content for social media, websites, blogs, email campaigns, and newsletters highlighting apartment homes, amenities, resident events, and community lifestyles. Assist with social media content planning, scheduling, and publishing. Write engaging marketing copy and resident-focused stories. Support marketing campaigns, community events, and brand awareness initiatives. Monitor content performance and assist with marketing analytics and reporting. Required: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Journalism, or a related field. Completed coursework in photography and videography, with additional coursework in digital media, graphic design, marketing, communications, or related disciplines preferred. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar content creation tools gained through coursework, internships, student organizations, freelance work, or personal projects. Experience with photography and videography, including content capture and basic editing. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to local properties for content creation projects. Preferred: Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Understanding of social media strategy and digital marketing principles. Background and Experience: Previous experience in digital media, graphic design, photography, videography, or content creation is encouraged but not required.
