Container Delivery Driver

About the role

Monday through Friday schedule with home every night.

Pay

$24–$28 per hour, depending on qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Drive a truck and trailer following company safety guidelines.
• Read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles, such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including loading and unloading, sometimes without helpers.
• Interact courteously with customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

• Extensive physical activity requiring strenuous work, including heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling objects over 50 pounds.
• Exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts; basic safety precautions required.
• Exposure to outside weather conditions, including frequent wet and/or humid environments, fumes, and vibration.
• Moderate noise levels.

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement preferred but not required.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
