About the role

Teachers Federal Credit Union is seeking a Contact Center Team Member to join our team in Hauppauge, NY. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service through phone and chat interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls from customers
  • Respond to emails and chats in a timely manner
  • Process transactions and resolve customer inquiries
  • Follow up on customer issues and escalate as necessary

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office

Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer service role preferred

  • Knowledge of credit union products and services
