Job Summary

The Customer Communication Specialist is responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls from insurance partners' members, insureds, contractors, and carriers regarding claims. This role involves setting up services, communicating the value of services, building trust, and accurately documenting claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up services for policyholders via inbound and outbound calls
  • Communicate the value of our services clearly
  • Build trust and establish rapport with customers
  • Pair homeowners with contractor partners to assist with their claims
  • Accurately document claims and move them forward
  • Maintain high levels of professionalism with both customers and colleagues
  • Adhere to the assigned work schedule
  • Collaborate with peers, collaborators, and supervisors to achieve organizational goals
  • Be reliable in meeting work commitments
  • Participate in cross-training and be willing to take on additional tasks as needed
  • Work overtime as needed during high volume and/or catastrophic claim periods

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable high-speed home broadband internet service
  • Previous experience working in a call center environment
  • Previous experience working with claims
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime during high volume and/or catastrophic claim periods
  • Able to handle conflict professionally and courteously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to be flexible and adaptable
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, laptops, tablets, and related applications
