Your day
- Have the highest quality customer service on the phone
- Determine patient needs and direct them appropriately
- Receive, answer, and respond to telephone calls from patients and their representatives
- Perform data entry of demographic and insurance information
- Schedule and register patients, including accurately collecting required data
- Answer questions and give information on the telephone within the scope of practice
- Refer all other questions to the specified departments as needed
- Update new insurance information as received
- Perform other duties as assigned
Your Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience, healthcare experience is preferred
- Electronic health record (EHR) experience is a plus
- The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while keeping a professional and calm composure
- Computer proficiency and ability to use applicable software as required to perform the essential functions of the job
