Job Description At Regions, the Business Intelligence (BI) Manager leads a team that is responsible for designing and implementing data and analytic solutions that provide a robust business intelligence framework. Primary Responsibilities Advises leadership on how BI processes, practices and technologies play a critical role in improving business management and optimizationDirects, organizes, and leads work stream projects with the use of BI software tools and systemsPlans, tests, and executes projects and supports day-to-day operationsStays abreast of BI products/tools and business strategy/directionInterprets data to provide insights to drive actions to increase efficiency and growthAssesses validity of business strategy recommendations against trend dataEvaluates composite information in relation to its impact on decision-making and strategic implicationsPrepares information and makes presentations to various audiences including the executive, senior and mid-level managers and associatesReviews cost benefit for realization, measures key performance indicators and identifies impactsProvides subject matter expertise for key BI core functionsWorks on complex, cross functional business intelligence solutionsPartners with data teams within the bank to ensure data is tracked consistently and holisticallyServes as a subject matter expert and acts as a data liaison for the business unit and stays abreast of BI products/tools and of business strategies and direction This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. This position is incentive eligible. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, or related field and six (6) years of project management, systems management, data intelligence operations, or related experienceOr High School Diploma or GED and ten (10) years of project management, systems management, data intelligence operations, or related experience Preferences Prior experience in a financial institutionPrior experience in a management/supervisory role within Analytics, Business Intelligence, and/or Data Warehouse Management Skills And Competencies Familiarity with implementation procedures and reporting toolsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skillsStrong work ethic and self-motivation2 + years of experience working with data within a Snowflake data warehouse or data platform environment.3+ years of experience designing and developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations using a business intelligence platform, preferably Power BI.Strong expertise in SQL with demonstrated experience in data transformation, complex query development, performance optimization, and analytical problem-solving.Ability to translate business requirements into actionable data insights and reporting solutions. Position Type Full time Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position. Minimum Job Range Target: $122,344.75 USD Median $154,660.00 USD Incentive Pay Plans This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
