Prior Experience

Prior experience in consumer warranty and lemon law defense is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

  • Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
  • 1+ year of civil litigation experience (consumer warranty or lemon law experience is a plus)
  • Strong writing, research, and communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines effectively
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Motivated, dependable, and eager to develop litigation skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents
  • Conduct and defend depositions
  • Participate in settlement negotiations and draft agreements
  • Appear in court for hearings and law and motion matters
  • Engage in meet-and-confer efforts with opposing counsel
  • Aid in trial preparation and case strategy
  • Perform legal research to support litigation efforts
