Consumer Warranty Defense Attorney
Prior Experience
Prior experience in consumer warranty and lemon law defense is helpful but not required.
Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
- 1+ year of civil litigation experience (consumer warranty or lemon law experience is a plus)
- Strong writing, research, and communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines effectively
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Motivated, dependable, and eager to develop litigation skills
Key Responsibilities
- Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Participate in settlement negotiations and draft agreements
- Appear in court for hearings and law and motion matters
- Engage in meet-and-confer efforts with opposing counsel
- Aid in trial preparation and case strategy
- Perform legal research to support litigation efforts
