Consumer Products Litigation Associate

Key Responsibilities

- Represent consumer product companies in responding to demand letters and government inquiries involving California Proposition 65. - Assist in defending consumer class actions involving alleged false advertising, consumer deception, and regulatory non-compliance. - Draft motions, briefs, and regulatory responses with precision and strong analytical focus. - Collaborate with subject-matter specialists on issues involving FTC, NAD, FDCA, CPSC, greenwashing, slack fill, and related consumer regulatory matters. - Engage directly with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams across multiple offices.

Who You Are

- 5–8 years of litigation experience, ideally with exposure to consumer products or regulatory matters. - Strong academic credentials, excellent research and writing ability, and meticulous attention to detail. - Comfortable working directly with clients and handling matters efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Experience across industries such as food, supplements, cleaning products, technology, OTC drugs, and personal care is advantageous but not essential. - Member of the California Bar or eligible for admission.

Compensation

Salary Range: $365,000 – $435,000 DOE Benefits: Comprehensive health, retirement, and parental leave benefits, along with discretionary bonuses and hybrid working arrangements
