Responsibilities

  • Originate new loan business with new and existing customers.
  • Evaluate customer needs and recommend optimal loan and voluntary product solutions.
  • Complete loan applications, proposals, and offers for new borrowers; follow up with pending applicants.
  • Explain the loan process, answer product questions, and assist potential borrowers.
  • Resolve customer concerns and collaborate with management on problem loans.
  • Close loans, assemble loan folders, and handle miscellaneous tasks.
  • Meet or exceed loan goals consistently.
  • Manage day-to-day servicing of a complex consumer loan portfolio.
  • Apply analytical skills to resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Process insurance claims, follow-ups, and payments daily; maintain an insurance log.
  • Deliver excellent customer care through daily transactions, inquiries, and problem resolution.
  • Answer incoming calls and check branch voicemail.
  • Build trust with customers and staff by embodying company values, policies, and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience (e.g., retail, goal-oriented, or incentive-based roles).
  • Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong communication and customer relations skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven, team environment.
  • Strong prioritization skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Must pass criminal background check, credit history review, and pre-employment drug screen.
  • Eligibility for insurance licensing to sell voluntary products (based on state department of insurance background check).
