About the role

We're seeking a Senior Consumer Loan Officer to join our team. This is a full-time, in-office position from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (with rotating Saturdays), and offers the chance to make a significant impact at a respected credit union in San Diego County.

Responsibilities

  • Underwrite and evaluate consumer loan applications across auto, personal, and credit card products
  • Analyze credit reports, income, and ability to repay while identifying risks and opportunities
  • Provide guidance and second-level review support to branches and internal teams
  • Make lending decisions within authority, including exceptions with clear rationale
  • Support loan production goals while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years of consumer lending and underwriting experience
  • A strong knowledge of credit analysis, lending practices, and financial regulations
  • Credit union experience preferred

Pay

Base Pay/Salary: $34.00 - $41.00 an hour

Schedule

Full-time, in-office position from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (with rotating Saturdays)
