Duties & Responsibilities
- Drives consumer lending origination and expands existing customer relationships through proactive phone-based sales activities.
- Initiates outbound calls using multiple lead sources to introduce and originate Huntington products and services.
- Clearly communicates the features and benefits of financial solutions and provides qualified referrals to specialized partners, such as Insurance and Mortgage, utilizing available tools and technology.
- Uses effective questioning techniques to identify customer needs, explain product value, and recommend appropriate Huntington financial solutions.
- Consistently achieves an average of 80+ daily contact attempts through the leads management system.
- Demonstrates high energy, initiative, and a strong drive to achieve departmental production goals.
- Maintains thorough and current knowledge of Huntington’s products, services, systems, technology, and regulatory requirements.
- Adheres to all quality, compliance, and risk standards, and may support short-term inbound call coverage or additional outbound calling initiatives as needed.
- Follows a disciplined and structured approach to outbound calling to meet productivity expectations.
- Effectively manages sales pipelines and tracks progress using established tools and processes.
- Completes accurate, thorough, and compliant loan applications.
- Complies with all Quality, Risk, Policy & Procedures, Learning Updates, and System requirements.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 1 year of previous financial sales experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 or more years of financial phone sales experience in the consumer lending and/or mortgage fields or business banking
- Related financial products and/or fields
