Responsibilities
- Cultivate professional relationships with customers using assessment tools to uncover needs, make recommendations, and submit referrals to banking center team members or line-of-business partners.
- Maintain detailed notes of customer conversations and interactions.
- Open and service deposit accounts, facilitating and processing transactions accurately to minimize errors and reduce fraud.
- Actively participate in morning huddles, calling efforts, business development, and coaching conversations with leadership.
- Demonstrate empathy to resolve client concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues as needed.
- Collaborate with line-of-business partners to foster teamwork, exceptional customer service, and continuous learning.
- Provide backup and assistance to other retail banking roles and locations as necessary.
- Model and champion the Bank’s standards for exceptional customer service while supporting its values and mission.
- Complete all essential training in a timely manner and apply constructive feedback from experienced team members.
- Maintain good punctuality and attendance, adhering to all Bank policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1+ years of experience interacting with people and displaying excellent service skills (work, military, or education).
- Basic knowledge of personal finance and household budgeting.
- Knowledge of bank products and services (e.g., online banking, mobile banking applications, banking cards) preferred.
- Experience in retail customer service and/or sales preferred.
- NMLS certification preferred (required for lending activities).
