About the role
The Associate Consultant contributes to bids, account plans, projects, and client engagements by performing targeted research and analyses. This role is for an experienced analyst who can work with limited guidance and on their own initiative. Work is scoped, allocated, and reviewed by a more senior colleague, with a focus on supporting client delivery as part of a team. While there may be direct client interaction, most work is desk or office-based. Some analytical support may also aid business development efforts.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality work that meets expectations for timeliness, accuracy, and completeness.
- Work effectively with team members to cooperate and exchange information efficiently, organizing work activities to align with the plan.
- Provide information or data to external clients as defined by a senior colleague, including sharing transactional information, answering basic questions about data or reports, and requesting or sharing data.
- Escalate client requests appropriately to manage expectations and strengthen relationships.
- Support business development efforts of senior colleagues by participating in client calls and meetings and producing initial drafts for parts of proposals.
Qualifications
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree.
- Previous relevant business experience.
- Skilled in understanding and applying standard solutions and product offerings relevant to a service line or expertise area.
- Knowledge of tools, techniques, or procedures appropriate to assigned work.
- Ability to recognize similarities between the client’s business and other organizations within its industry.
