Consulting Manager - Cloud Platform

For a leader in the Energy & Utilities space, we are seeking a Consulting Manager to lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage technology teams during client engagements, ensuring timely task completion and barrier removal
• Serve as a billable Azure Architect on client projects, targeting 75% utilization
• Conduct regular 1-on-1s with direct reports for performance monitoring and professional development
• Support team delivery objectives and ensure client satisfaction
• Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Manage team utilization rates and address any periods of inactivity effectively
• Estimate project work at levels appropriate for successful delivery
• Resolve personnel issues to maintain a productive work environment
• Inspire team commitment and foster trust within team dynamics
• Participate in pre-sales activities and define client engagement processes

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of consulting experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Strong internal and client communication skills
• Attention to detail with analytical skills
• Passion for technology-driven problem solving
• Ability to build relationships with clients and teams
• Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills
• Microsoft Azure Certifications are a plus, but not required

Pay

$117,500 – $176,300 annually
