Consulting Geologist

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform regional geological risk and resource analyses across a variety of play types.
• Integrate geologic, geophysical, petrophysical, and production data to identify opportunities.
• Map and communicate resource potential through appropriate geologic products.
• Work closely with reservoir engineers to assess economics of prospects.
• Help to plan acquisitions and organic leasing for future development.
• Works well in a team environment but can also work independently with minimal supervision.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Experience in unconventional resource plays, with Midland and/or Appalachian Basin experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Mapping Software packages, such as Petra and Enverus.
• Experienced in creating standard geological work products.
• Experienced in well logs and petrophysics.
• Must be a team player.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum: Master’s degree with a 4 Year / Bachelor’s Degree.
• Position requires a 4-year degree in Geology or Geophysics.
• Years Of Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Geologist required.
  Minimum of three (3) years of experience in upstream Oil and Gas required.
