About the role
Aon is seeking a Consultant, Sales Force Effectiveness to join our team. This role can be based in Boston, MA, Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL, New York, NY, and additional locations.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple client engagements and build relationships with senior business leaders to generate revenue.
- Lead a team of associates and consultants in delivering high-quality sales effectiveness solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal clients, including senior consultants and peers.
- Upsell and cross-sell opportunities and interact with client contacts to enhance utilization.
- Design, develop, and implement sales effectiveness strategies and programs.
- Support the sale of client projects and contribute to client proposals.
- Contribute to the development of new consulting content and support internal initiatives.
- Participate in scheduled and on-the-job training to develop a full understanding of Aon's consulting methodologies.
- Respond to client needs and execute project plans to deliver optimal engagement value.
- Deliver work products of the highest quality as directed by senior consultants and project leaders.
- Support internal initiatives to develop new consulting content, develop new markets, and recruit new consultants.
- Travel up to 50% of the time as needed.
Requirements
- 6-8+ years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, and formula development) and data visualization and analytic tools such as Tableau.
- Broad-based and business-oriented understanding of sales process, sales tools, incentives, reporting, planning, quota, territory, forecasting, process, and sales talent issues.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize data and develop insights.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to think critically and question data.
- Project management skills.
Preferred Experience
- Leadership in extracurricular activities.
- Sales experience.
- Intellectual curiosity by reading industry journals, participating in industry-wide community activities, and taking advantage of training offered.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Math, Statistics, Economics, Accounting, or General Business.
- MBA preferred.
