About the Role
We are seeking a Java Developer and Lead to join our team in Phoenix, AZ (85054) for a 6-month project. This is an onsite role from day one with no travel required.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications combining Java-based backend services with frontend user interfaces.
- Work with Spring Boot, SQL/NoSQL databases, and frontend frameworks like Angular or React to create scalable, high-performance software.
- Collaborate in agile teams to manage the entire application lifecycle.
- Engage in architecture and planning, applying TDD/BDD practices (JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber).
- Demonstrate strong presentation and communication skills.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Java development.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (BE).
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
- Experience with TDD/BDD (JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber).
- Strong architecture and planning skills.
