Consultant, Lead

What You Will Do

• Aid the project manager in defining and sequencing project tasks, estimating task duration, and creating a project schedule as part of developing a project management plan.
• Review project management plans to understand the scope, schedule, and assigned work authorization.
• Plan and schedule client meetings.
• Lead client and task-team meetings.
• Lead small task teams in executing project tasks.
• Conduct research and data analysis, including assisting with customer or stakeholder analyses.
• Prepare written documents, reports, and presentations.
• Develop conclusions and recommendations, write reports, and assist with client presentations.
• Give oral presentations to clients.
• Track and report hours spent executing projects.
• Work with individuals at all levels, providing input to reports and other deliverables, executing multiple assignments, meeting agreed deadlines, and adjusting to changing client demands.
• Perform quality assurance on project deliverables.
• Build relationships with existing customers to facilitate the development of new business.
• Identify new business opportunities with existing customers for current and/or additional services.

What You Will Need

• 2-4 years of professional experience is the minimum required.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Delegation skills.
• Strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform research and provide analysis on research performed.
• Effective gathering and analysis of data.
• Application of critical thinking to a wide variety of problems.
• Comprehension and analysis of complex problems.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of the ABS Health, safety, quality, and environmental management systems.
