Consultant II - Life Underwriting (Brokerage) REMOTE

Responsibilities

• Analyze and underwrite complex life insurance applications
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of underwriting policies and processes
• Authorize necessary underwriting requirements and assessments
• Develop an understanding of accelerated underwriting processes
• Educate internal and external partners on underwriting practices
• Supervise and guide less experienced underwriters
• Cookordination reinsurance negotiations based on contractual terms

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of life underwriting experience
• Undergraduate degree in medical, marketing, finance, or related field
• AALU designation or working towards designation EKG certification preferred
• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• $108,000 – $200,000 annually
