Consultant, Competitive Intelligence
We’re looking for a Consultant to join our Enterprise Strategic Services team, which defines and facilitates the strategic planning process, develops and adapts the company’s strategic plan, and supports critical strategic initiatives. This role contributes to a market-leading Competitive Intelligence function, delivering insights through comprehensive research and analysis.
About the role
Reporting to the Senior Director of Competitive Intelligence, you’ll develop competitive analyses to inform internal business partners. By conducting secondary research—supplemented by primary research and generative AI—you’ll deliver recurring and ad-hoc reports to help stakeholders navigate competitive dynamics across key markets and segments. This position is eligible for the Flex persona.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Strategy and Innovation team and Senior Director to scope, plan, and execute assigned projects.
- Execute competition research and analyses to support project objectives, including baseline data collection from secondary and select primary sources.
- Leverage quantitative and qualitative analysis to develop reports with compelling visualizations.
- Organize information thematically and synthesize it into clear communication documents tailored to the right level of detail.
- Facilitate meetings within project engagements.
- Present updates, findings, and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Foundational understanding of the healthcare industry and health plan business.
- Strong qualitative, quantitative, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver presentations to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational, project, and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Proficiency in secondary research and data visualization (Tableau).
- Demonstrated AI fluency is a plus.
- Results-oriented with a willingness to drive projects to completion.
- High degree of professionalism and ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently to advance work products.
- BS/BA degree.
- Minimum five years of relevant business experience, including consulting, research and analysis, or a related field.
Pay
Salary range: $86,580.00 – $105,820.00. The range reflects the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual pay may vary based on factors including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business needs. This role is also eligible for variable pay.
