Key Responsibilities

• Provide civil engineering support for a variety of large projects at Surry Nuclear Plant, which may include Crane Replacements, Feedwater Heater Replacements, building modifications, large piping, and other major component replacements.
• Schedule major engineering segments of complex projects to meet long-range design development schedule goals.
• Attend station schedule and outage meetings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of design engineering experience
• Civil/Structural Engineering degree (B.S. minimum, M.S. a plus)
• Familiarity with standard civil engineering codes
• Experience with large projects
• 10 CFR 50.59 Screen preparation and review experience

About the Role

This position involves working with the Projects Team (Subsequent License Renewal) to support the design and fabrication of piping supports and rigging analysis, as well as performing design verifications and owner reviews.

Pay

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $80.00 - $100.00.
