About the role

This intermediate-level DevOps Software Engineer position focuses on AI and automation, combining software engineering expertise with DevOps practices to enhance macOS fleet administration and developer infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

• AI-Driven Automation & Innovation
  • Design and implement AI-powered automation agents to streamline macOS fleet administration, including automated provisioning, configuration drift detection, and self-healing remediation
  • Develop intelligent automation solutions using LLMs and agentic frameworks to reduce manual intervention in routine operational tasks
  • Build predictive maintenance systems that anticipate infrastructure issues before they impact developers
  • Create AI-assisted incident response workflows that automatically triage alerts, correlate events, and suggest remediation steps
• DevOps & Platform Engineering
  • Execute software solutions through design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond conventional approaches
  • Oversee CI/CD infrastructure administration, leveraging AI to optimize pipeline performance, predict build failures, and auto-remediate common issues
  • Develop systems that empower developers to innovate while ensuring adherence to firm

Required Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 3+ years applied experience
• Experience in DevOps with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Terraform) and application resiliency & security
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting
• Experience with system administration and automated provisioning
• Hands-on experience with logging, monitoring, and observability tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana)
• Production support and incident management experience
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and security principles
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar agentic frameworks)
• Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic) and prompt engineering
• Demonstrated ability to build AI-powered automation workflows or intelligent bots
• Understanding of when and how to apply AI solutions to operational challenges

Preferred Qualifications

• macOS administration and MDM platforms (Jamf, Kandji, Mosyle)
• Experience building automation bots or intelligent workflows
• Mobile application development or mobile device management
• Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with vector databases and RAG architectures
• Experience working in highly regulated industries
