About the role
The Department of Psychiatry at The MetroHealth System seeks a board-certified (or board-eligible) psychiatrist to join their team. This role includes primary coverage of the psychiatry consult-liaison service with secondary coverage of emergency department psychiatry consults as needed.
Responsibilities
- Primary coverage of psychiatry consult-liaison service
- Secondary coverage of emergency department psychiatry consults as needed
- Collaborate with neighboring consult services including psychology and addiction medicine
- Opportunities for clinical program development, teaching, and academic collaboration
Requirements
- Board certification or board eligibility
- MD or DO degree
- Experience in psychiatry preferred
Qualifications
- Strong commitment to expanding access to behavioral health care
- Experience with inpatient, outpatient, intensive outpatient, and emergency settings
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and mission-driven environment
