Yard Stocker Simi Valley, CA | Full-time | M-F 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Job Summary August Roofing & Solar is hiring a Yard Stocker for our Simi Valley, CA yard. This full-time role keeps our materials, trailers, and job builds organized, so crews have exactly what they need, when they need it. You'll be hands-on every day, moving materials, sorting trailers, and staging jobs and huddles for the field teams. Join a Growing Team in Roofing & Solar! What You'll Do As part of our yard team, you'll: Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe, tracking material and equipment locations across the propertySort incoming trailers, pulling good materials and restocking as neededReceive material deliveries and verify against purchase orders and pick ticketsStock and organize materials in designated yard and shop locationsRestock materials pulled for daily buildsBuild and stage daily jobs and huddles, documenting with photos in AsanaSubmit a yard huddle any time materials are missing from a buildKeep trailers in good working condition, including tarps, blocks, and job numbersFlag shortages, damaged materials, or discrepancies right awayAssist with inventory countsSupport forklift operations for moving materials What We're Looking For Prior experience in a warehouse, yard, or materials handling environment preferredAbility to lift and move construction materials up to 75 poundsComfortable working outdoors on a physical, fast paced scheduleDetail oriented with strong organizational habitsForklift experience or certification a plusDriver's license not required but a plus Why Work With Us?
