About the role

Our Interstate Logos office in Pearl, MS is seeking a full‑time Construction Worker to install and maintain interstate logo signs that indicate exits for food, gas, etc. The role involves receiving job schedules from the Operations Manager, traveling to sites in a company truck, and performing ground‑mounted sign installation, maintenance, vegetation control, and warehouse organization, often requiring overnight travel up to four nights per week and occasional ten‑day stretches.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain ground‑mounted signs along controlled and non‑controlled access roadways.
• Receive job schedules from the Operations Manager and drive to each location in a company‑provided truck.
• Install and remove additional signs attached to ground‑mounted signs, requiring work at various heights.
• Perform vegetation control (tree, brush, weed removal) around ground‑mounted signs.
• Organize and clean warehouse space and supply yard area.

Requirements

• Familiarity with the use and maintenance of construction power/manual tools and basic construction equipment/machinery.
• Skill in using and maintaining tools such as chain saw and wood chipper for sign installation, maintenance, or removal.
• Ability to lift at least 100 pounds.
• Skill in writing brief sentences to complete job reports.
• Skill in taking photographs to catalog completed work.
• Ability to work at heights ranging from 20 to 30 feet.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license; Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
• Willingness and ability to obtain NCCCO certification upon hire.
