Construction Warehouse Assistant

About the role

STRUCTURAL is seeking a dependable Warehouse Assistant to support daily operations of our construction warehouse in St. Petersburg, FL. This role focuses on organization, cleanliness, basic inventory tracking, and routine equipment checks.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with coordinating the acceptance, storage, and deliveries of materials and equipment in conjunction with field managers and suppliers.
• Tracking goods while they are in route to their destinations, expediting orders when necessary.
• Shipping and routing of materials and equipment.
• Maintaining tool and part inventories and ensuring the condition and maintenance of the shop to maintain safe working conditions.
• Ensuring returned equipment is properly tagged, stored, and serviced for future use.
• Working closely with mechanics to ensure all equipment is job-ready when it leaves the shop.

Requirements

• 1+ year(s) experience in a construction warehouse setting.
• Highly organized and efficient.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations and inventory tracking.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a huge plus!)
• Able to lift 60lbs and perform physical tasks typical of a warehouse environment.
• Team focused and safety oriented.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Forklift operation experience (Preferred but not required).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a huge plus!)
