Construction Technician

About the role

Our client is a premier flooring and interior installation services provider serving residential construction and renovation projects. They pride themselves on reliability, professionalism, and treating every jobsite as an extension of their reputation. We are seeking a dependable Construction General Laborer to support our installation crews across residential jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload flooring, door, and stair materials onto/off trucks
• Transport materials to different delivery and installation sites
• Install temporary railings in homes as needed
• Assist installers with general support tasks for flooring, stairs, and door installations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Represent the company professionally on every jobsite
• Follow all jobsite safety procedures and directions from site leads
• Show up reliably and on time for scheduled work

Requirements

• Reliable, consistent attendance and punctuality
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift and carry construction materials repeatedly throughout the day
• Comfortable working at multiple job/delivery sites, often in a single day
• Willingness to take direction and support installers as needed
• Basic familiarity with construction tools and jobsite safety practices

Nice-to-Haves

• Prior experience in flooring, stair, or door installation support
• General construction or general labor experience
• Valid driver's license (if travel between sites requires driving)

Qualifications

No formal education requirement; on-the-job training provided.

Pay

$20 per hour
