Construction Supervisor Senior

About the role

Oversee the success of the project, ensuring zero injuries and meeting the schedule with a quality product.

Responsibilities

• Know the SAFETY PLANK kickoff meeting, site-specific orientation, and read and know the permits, road use agreements, crossing agreements, SWPPP, haul routes, drawings, material, schedule, QA/QC, submittals to engineering for review.
• Set expectations, lead, and train the other team members on site safety orientation, site-specific safety plan, and fill out safety assessments/CILs (unifier).
• Report and document (included in weekly report to CM), QA/QC (unifier), and site photo's.
• Develop a good relationship with the contractor (if possible) and be engaged in the project.
• Ensure quality project (know the specs and drawings) and monitor environmental constraints before/during work activities (SWPPP).
• Stay involved in outage/crossing coordination.
• Manage the team to help gather all the information needed to report accurately.
• Communicate with PM when help is needed, providing the background story to assist.
• Prepare reports/trackers due on Fridays by end of day 5pm project time.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 3 years as a construction manager.
• Transmission line experience is imperative for this position.

Qualifications

• Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) utilize their knowledge to solve problems.
• Land agents utilized for planning, difficult landowners, and information about landowners and land agreements.

Pay

Base salary range: $50/hour to $55/hour with per diem.

Schedule

Per diem in Hobbs, NM - Onsite.
