About the role
The Construction Supervisor is responsible for overseeing project safety, quality, and team performance in a construction environment. They ensure adherence to safety regulations, conduct site inspections, and provide training to crews.
Responsibilities
- Manage subcontractors and vendors
- Coordinate work with local agencies
- Ensure projects meet deadlines and budget
- Lead by example and motivate teams
- Conduct quality assurance inspections to confirm compliance with customer requirements
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including homeowners' associations
- Read construction maps and diagrams
Requirements
- At least one year of supervisory experience in construction
- Background in aerial or underground work
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug tests
- Basic knowledge of splicing
