Construction Supervisor

The Field Construction Supervisor is responsible for overseeing crew performance and safety on projects, ensuring quality work within budget and deadlines. Key duties include enforcing safety practices and regulations,training crews,performing site inspections,managing subcontractors and vendors,coordinating work tasks and ensuring compliance with customer requirements,conducting quality assurance inspections, and communicating effectively with stakeholders, including homeowners and local authorities. Qualifications and skills include at least one year of construction supervisory experience,background in aerial or underground construction,strong critical thinking, conflict resolution, and analytical skills,proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction software,excellent relationship-building and communication abilities,ability to read maps and drawings, and willingness to travel. Requirements involve a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, passing a DOT physical and pre-employment drug test, and knowledge of flag and tag procedures. Additional preferred qualifications include permitting experience, bilingual abilities, an undergraduate degree, and a CDL license.
