About the role

As an Installation Supervisor, you are the technical construction and product installation expert in our core products (windows, sunrooms if required, doors, and siding). You will manage, train, and hold your team accountable to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production goals while maintaining the highest quality level to ensure code compliance and customer satisfaction. The team under your responsibility may include Service/Measure Technicians, Employee Installers, and Sub-Contractor Installers. This role requires early starting times and may include working Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical construction expert, understanding how to remeasure windows, entry doors, siding, and/or sunrooms in all applications as required.
  • Know when and where tempered glass is required to ensure compliance with Champion Engineering and common construction best practices.
  • Conduct job site visits and/or phone calls with customers during installs or at each phase of longer projects to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer concerns promptly by speaking directly with the customer and informing the Install Manager.
  • Oversee in-house and subcontractor crews to ensure daily revenue goals are achieved.
  • Ensure each project is properly measured, ordered, staged, scheduled, fully completed, and that the balance due is 100% collected.
  • Continuously monitor revenue forecast and actuals for your product responsibility.
  • Create and maintain a safe working environment in compliance with governmental regulations and complete required safety training.
  • Ensure employees and subcontractors achieve industry productivity and quality standards.
  • Provide training to employees and subcontractors as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of skilled labor or industry experience preferred.
  • OSHA, Installation Masters training, and/or related certification a plus.
  • Clean driving record and solid attendance record.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to train others.
  • Proficient knowledge of installation/service methods for window, door, and siding projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and email.
  • Ability to adjust and re-prioritize workflow on a daily basis.
  • Ensure each job is completed in compliance with written safety policies.
