CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR

About the role

Supervises and directs activities of workers concerned with construction of buildings, roads, water and sewer lines, or other construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Processes monthly invoices
• Estimates different projects that are encountered, including planning and implementing capital budgeting
• Works with Safety Officer for all safety concerns that occur during construction
• Performs other job related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor(s)

Requirements

• Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• The ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings
• Basic computer skills
• The ability to operate and have knowledge about heavy equipment
• A valid CDL license and being insurable with RTC auto insurance
• Supervisory skills and experience are an asset
