Job details
The Superintendent is responsible for overall field leadership and execution, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and at the highest quality standards. You will lead the day-to-day jobsite operations while collaborating closely with project managers, subcontractors, and ownership teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead all on-site construction operations
- Manage and coordinate union subcontractors and craft labor
- Develop and maintain project schedules and sequencing
- Enforce jobsite safety programs and OSHA compliance
- Conduct daily subcontractor coordination meetings
- Ensure work meets quality standards and contract documents
- Maintain detailed daily reports and field documentation
- Collaborate with the Project Manager on cost, schedule, and logistics
- Identify and proactively resolve field issues before they impact the schedule
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
Qualifications
- 10+ years of construction field leadership experience
- Experience working with union trades
- Background as a Lead Superintendent or Superintendent on $10M+ projects
- Experience with complex commercial, civic, education, infrastructure, or industrial construction
- Strong scheduling and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and project stakeholders
- Commitment to jobsite safety and craftsmanship
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Pay
$100,000 - $150,000 per year
