Construction Superintendent Intern (Summer 2027)

As a College Superintendent Intern, you will assist Superintendents with hands-on experience on jobsites across a variety of industries including commercial, industrial, distribution, office, multi-family, and entertainment. You will learn skills such as creating schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, managing project workflows, and contributing to every stage of the project life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Work on jobsites and gain hands-on experience from expert field personnel.
- Learn from Superintendents on creating schedules, communicating with subcontractors, and running projects from start to finish.
- Contribute to ARCO’s success by performing critical tasks in every stage of the project life cycle.
Requirements
- Enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or other related degree programs.
- Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 out of 4.0.
- Co-op or intern construction experience preferred, but not required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic.
- Possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license in your state of residence.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing or walking for long periods, occasionally on uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and/or lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds.
