You take pride in doing the right thing, leading by example, and delivering quality work safely. You are eager to learn how construction projects are built from the ground up while working alongside experienced field leaders.

A Day In The Life

As a Superintendent Intern/Co-op, every day brings a new lesson. You’ll gain exposure to the full lifecycle of a project while working alongside experienced professionals who are invested in your growth. Here's what you can expect:

  • Field Operations – Gain exposure to how ARCO manages daily job site activities from site mobilization through project completion.
  • Safety Leadership – Participate in daily safety meetings, job site inspections, and learn how to promote and maintain a strong safety culture.
  • Scheduling & Coordination – Assist with coordinating subcontractor activities and monitoring progress to help keep projects on schedule.
  • Quality Control – Observe and support quality inspections to ensure work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and ARCO standards.

Necessary Qualifications

  • Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 out of 4.0
  • Enrolled in Civil/Architectural/Construction Engineering or Construction Management degree program
  • Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic
  • Active Driver's License
