Responsibilities
- Use various equipment, hand and power tools
- Prepare ground trenches for pipes and utility lines
- Remove, fill or compact earth
- Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade and utility safety standards
- Responsible for the site set-up and clean-up
- Load and unload tools, materials and equipment on truck
- Will be involved in new site Job Safety Analysis - JSA prior to starting construction
- Set up safety perimeter using signage, cones and safety barriers and at times flagging traffic
- May be required to work overtime; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies or be on-call as work is needed to ensure work is completed
- Able to follow instructions
- Drive heavy equipment/haul materials
Qualifications
- CDL A License
- Commercial driving and/or heavy equipment operation - 1 year experience
- On-call and weekend availability
- Travel is Required
Additional Information
Hourly Range: $26 - $30 USD per hour
Schedule: Day Shift: Monday - Friday & Night Shift: Sunday - Thursday
Travel Requirements: 100%
