Construction Senior Project Manager (Conesville, OH) - $20,000 Sign-On

Location: Conesville, Ohio

Pay Range: $135,000 - $175,000. Financial support for mid- and senior-level candidates who require relocation assistance is available.

About the role

Superior is looking for a Senior Project Manager to help drive our electrical construction projects forward. This role is based on a jobsite in Conesville, Ohio and involves managing construction projects, scheduling resources, ensuring budgets and timelines are met, and collaborating with the Superintendent and Foremen for successful project progress and completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Operations team members and provide clear communication and guidance to team members, vendors, clients, and executives
• Mitigate and manage project risk, and elevate concerns – and solutions – quickly to Project Operations and Field Operations leadership
• Maintain and grow the trust of clients by cultivating relationships, communicating swiftly, collaborating, and solving challenges
• Oversee all project finance requirements and lead the team through accurate billings, project setup, project buy-out, project cost control, change order management, and cost-to-complete
• Ensure compliance with the full project schedule from project kickoff to project closeout
• Chair project meetings including planning, progress updates, and reviews with customers
• Work with departments across the organization to ensure that project materials are available and in place as needed
• Own the full scope of the project contract and negotiate changes as needed
• Maintain a high degree of safety on our work across the jobsite

Requirements

• At least 8 years of Project Operations experience on commercial construction projects

Qualifications

Bonus Points:

• Experience leading design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $50M+
• Extensive knowledge of construction management software
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or a related field; a Construction Management certificate; or equivalent field or project experience on a commercial construction site
• Active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
