Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed technical reviews of contractor-developed baseline schedules.
- Evaluate logic ties, sequencing, constraints, float integrity, and critical path validity.
- Assess schedule realism, constructability, and compliance with contract requirements.
- Review and validate monthly schedule updates and analyze variances.
- Monitor critical and near-critical paths to identify emerging delay risks.
- Review Time Impact Analyses (TIA) and evaluate Extension of Time (EOT) requests.
- Perform forensic schedule analysis when required.
- Identify early warning indicators of schedule slippage and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Lead schedule review meetings and provide data-driven feedback to contractors.
- Translate complex schedule data into clear, executive-level insights for client leadership.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and deep expertise in CPM analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to independently review, challenge, and validate contractor schedules.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience supporting delay analysis, claims review, and forensic schedule evaluation.
- Proven experience operating confidently with client PM and technical staff in a Progressive Design- Build environment.
- Familiarity with schedule risk analysis tools.
- Strong credibility with both client and contractor teams, supported by a track record of identifying schedule risks early and providing actionable recommendations.
- PMI-SP or similar certification preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of construction scheduling experience on very large capital projects.
- Experience supporting infrastructure, water/wastewater, transportation, or large commercial programs.
- Significant experience with Progressive Design- Build projects.
- Prior involvement in multiple projects exceeding $100M in value.
- Experience in owner’s representative or client advisory roles is strongly preferred.
